Founded by a dedicated young couple, our organization is rooted in personal experience and a deep understanding of the struggles many face. Having overcome their own adversity, our owners are now devoted to paying it forward, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for others to heal and grow. With a passion for supporting those in need, Sunset Recovery aims to be a beacon of hope and guidance for our community, helping individuals find strength, resilience, and a path towards a brighter future.

Meet the Team

Executive Director

Paulie O'Byrne

Paulie holds a certification from Peer Support Canada and brings valuable life experience to our company (11 years in recovery). He is a registered ASIST facilitator. As well Paulie is the first and only addiction and mental health strategist in the Canadian Hockey League, 2024 OHL Champions, London Knights.

Program Director

Cassandra Hobden

Cassandra is a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW) who combines her professional expertise with personal life experience to provide compassionate support. She has experience in both youth and adult mental health. Cassandra also has extensive experience in working with individuals needing life management support.
